TECHNICAL SHEET
Emerald Bay is a house located in the valley of the Chokocho village, on the island of Pemba – Tanzania, which overlooks a characteristic natural harbor, surrounded by a luxuriant nature.
A blast from the past between hills, rainforest and historic sites.
The resort, built with Arab influences, recalls the days gone by when traders and sailors lived on the island. 7 large rooms with private veranda overlooking the sea make up the structure. The bar, the common area and the terrace with swimming pool offer a splendid view of the Emerald Bay, from which the resort takes its name. The Emerald Bay House is ideal for couples, honeymooners and selected travelers who come to enjoy the nature, peace and tranquility of this place.
We are pleased to remind you that Pemba is very different from Zanzibar and the people who populate this island are less exposed to tourism. Visitors to Pemba are invited to respect local customs and traditions, wearing long clothes and trousers when strolling through the streets of the island.
Accommodation at Emerald Bay includes full board, tea/coffee and bottles of water with meals, one excursion a day or on a sand spit, or to Panzi Island or snorkelling in Jombe.
Alcoholic and soft drinks, bottles of water outside meals and transfer from the airport to the resort are not included.
Children of all ages are admitted and under 3 years of age are free.
Most of the hotels in Zanzibar are large hotel complexes, but if you prefer an intimate retreat we suggest Pemba Island.
