Iran Sebt Tour Operator (ISTO) is a cultural tourism agency that began its activities with artistic-scientific researches in the academic environment of Europe in the 1970s.

The agency was founded by Dr. Ahmad Sebt Hosseini and his wife Dr. Luciana Manzi, who both hold PhD degrees in architecture and urban planning from La Sapienza University of Rome and are experts in historical architecture, with many years of experience in designing architectural structures in environmental surroundings (i.e. deserts, mountains, hills and fields) in Italy and Iran.

​They are providing cultural tours between Iran and the rest of the world, holding cultural conferences, writing articles on academic tourism journals and teaching tourism at universities as well. The itineraries of “I. S. T. O.” are practically the keys of the gates of the thousands years old civilizations of the East.
